How hot is dubai compared to sharm el sheikh in late june / early july?

I know both locations are PRETTY HOT during the summer months but i was just wondering which one would be hotter. I am looking at egypt or dubai but i have heard that dubai can be unbearable in the summer months due to humidity but i dont understand where this humidity comes from as the two locations are in a similar geographic location - desert - so shouldnt egypt have high humidity in the summer too?
