I'm an unemployed UK citizen, and would really like to go and live in Europe. Would I get benefits if I left?

Need to know with regards to housing, unemployment benefit etc. We hear lots of stories of other people coming to the UK and getting housing and benefits, does it work the other way around? For example, in Germany or the Czech Republic.
