If Heath Ledger ped on The Joker role, would he still be as missed as he is today?

I think he would still be greatly missed, his turn in Brokeback Mountain made him a star, not his turn in The Dark Knight, his Joker showed us what we lost, he was an incredibly talented actor. He would still be very missed.
