money profited greatly in the markets from 02' into 07', especially from the war in Iraq. VP Cheney had his secret energy meetings and the price of oil skyrocketed, more money to be made. When it became apparent that the democrats might well win this election, the markets reacted, negatively. The big money was starting to pull out. The more it pulled out, the more questions started to arise. Our mental recession was treated with a stimulus check, the markets still dropped. Bear Stearns collapses and the dominoes start to fall. Things get so bad we're now talking about hundreds of billions being given to the same people who killed their companies in their quest for profits at all costs. If it pes big business will have a collective , the democrats will win the election and the republicans can blame Obama for America's woes the next four years. Don't tell me republicans are stupid, at least not the ones at the top.
