Apple Educational discounts?

Yes, you can get your educational discount at the store or online. I’ve had this happen twice, one when my brother-in-law bought his iPod at the Apple Store, the clerk had to do a little more paper work at the end (in Chicago). Another time I made a purchase and asked for my student discount, the clerk paused the transaction and had me sign in to my schools web portal (to see if I was a real student). After this display I was given the discount. I can’t remember what I bought but I this it was worth the trouble. Just make sure you have your student ID with you and a school schedule as a backup. I can only ume the Apple store in Canada will do the same.
